The 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham Montesano Extremadura, from the DO Dehesa de Extremadura, became, throughout the five days of the congress, the official aperitif and snack of the great event, being present, in rigorous live broadcast morning and afternoon, on the central set of San Sebastian Gastronomika.

The young but expert international carver Zulima Esteban was in charge of serving journalists and chefs attending the congress every day with her filigree cuts. In addition to the success of the Montesano Extremadura “microspace” throughout the congress, the 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham from the Extremadura brand was also included in the official closing dinner of the congress, a gastronomic celebration of the new Basque culinary “phenomena”, the young chefs from the Galerna and Arraunlari Berri restaurants, who constitute the new generation of creative cuisine in the Basque Country.
